This old furnace suffered from multiple problems. The ductwork was also contributing to poor comfort, along with taking up space due to poor arrangement
We rearranged the ductwork for a more efficient layout, and increased airflow. Reduced energy bills and increased comfort!
Excessive and unnecessary elbows in the water lines, and not even a shut off valve to be found!
We installed a water shut off valve and cleaned up all the water lines. Also upgraded the water heater chimney from 3" to 4" venting.
Rheem gas water heaters available in an attractive grey finish.
Installed to code. Pricing includes new gas connector and water shut off valve (if required). We take the old tank away as well.
This job required extensive ductwork and gas line alterations to free up space in the laundry/storage room. We managed to keep everything tucked in line with the wall so access to shelving could be maximized.
Cracks in heat exchangers can allow dangerous fumes to enter the living space of your home! We search for cracks when we perform annual services on your furnaces! Sometimes the heat exchanger can be replaced, saving you money versus replacing the entire furnace!
A closer view of the cracks our technicians are trained to look for. Attention to detail prevents these potential hazards from sneaking by unnoticed!
A 1980s furnace with some interesting ductwork. The customer wanted to know if we could face the furnace the other way to help free up space for the basement renovation.
As you can see, some ducts were poorly laid out, and in some cases just open or falling apart. With some rearrangement we could rotate the furnace 180 degrees.
We replaced the mismatched return air drop and rotated the furnace 180 degrees so a wall could be put up as part of the basement renovation.
By replacing the 12+ year old water heater and moving the new one back, we made clearance to rotate the furnace. We also removed the broken and hodge podge return air jumper duct with a new 8" round duct. This can now be made into a small mechanical room, freeing up basement space.
This is a 2 stage burner furnace with an ECM blower motor. 2 stages of heat increase comfort, and the ECM blower reduces electricity consumption.
It also has a condensate pump so the drain hose no longer has to snake along the floor to the floor drain.
Installed a basic Payne 3 Ton ac on wall brackets for a customer.
