Transcurría 1940, cuando a pocos metros del Palacio Municipal, en la carrera Carabobo, se abrió un pequeño taller dedicado a reparaciones eléctricas. Justo allí, en Taller Eléctrico Medellín, es donde comenzó a escribirse la historia de este gran complejo industrial que pasó de ser un pequeño garaje, a ocupar con sus plantas de refrigeración, calefacción y plásticos, más de 211 mil metros cuadrados en el municipio de Copacabana. Toda una fábrica de sueños donde se construyen Familias y Hogares Felices.Y es que hace 78 años nadie se hubiera imaginado que este rombo se instalaría en el hogar y en el corazón de millones de familias colombianas. Ni siquiera don José María Acevedo, fundador de Industrias Haceb, quien logró lo que parecía impensable: sobreponer el ingenio a las dificultades, pensar más allá de todo límite, trasformar su destino y consolidad una empresa que hoy es un orgullo nacional.
Hoy son más de siete décadas haciendo familias y hogares felices; transformando los productos de cocción, refrigeración, lavado, calentamiento de agua y aire acondicionado, en soluciones integrales y al alcance de los colombianos; haciendo una apuesta, en pro de nuestro consumidor, basada en la innovación, la generación de experiencias sorprendentes, la transformación cultural y la excelencia operacional.
