AISLAMIENTO Y PROXIMIDAD: finca privada de 60.000 metros cuadrados de prados y bosques, con el Castillo de Andrade como edificio más próximo y único visible desde la finca y situada al lado del Parque Natural de las Fragas do Eume; sin embargo, tenemos núcleos urbanos muy próximos, como la villa medieval de Pontedeume, sus playas y autopista a 6,5 km., La Coruña y Santiago de Compostela a 25 y 45 minutos respectivamente. Desde hacía tiempo, el propietario tenía la ilusión de crear un lugar de turismo rural en el que sus huéspedes no solo se sintieran a gusto y bien atendidos, sino que lo hicieran en un entorno especial por su belleza, tanto en el interior de la casa como en el exterior. Tenía claro que la región ideal sería Galicia por sus paisajes, porque aún conserva zonas vírgenes, por su gastronomía e incluso por su gente.
