Óptica Americana comienza en 1926, cuando Donato Setién Barquín, oriundo de Santander, decide trasladarse a Albacete y abrir la primera óptica de la ciudad; la cual, en un principio, más que óptica era un establecimiento donde se vendían tanto gafas como relojes, plumas y artículos fotográficos. Unos años después se incorpora al negocio familiar su hijo Fernando, especializándose entonces en el montaje oftálmico y en la fotografía.La tercera generación llega en 1989 cuando después de una reforma integral se incorpora Zoraida Lozano Setién, después de haber cursado los estudios de óptica en Madrid. Desde entonces, en Óptica Americana trabajamos día a día en satisfacer las necesidades de nuestros clientes, proporcionándoles las mejores soluciones a sus problemas visuales, gafas graduadas ,adaptación de cristales progresivos de alta gama, así como todo tipo de lentillas ,incluidas las lentes para el control de la miopía de última generación.
