DIXIEMAN Dixieland Jazz Band Somos DIXIEMAN, una banda creada en el 2005 por un grupo de músicos con largos años de experiencia en el mundo de la música y especialmente en formaciones de Dixieland. Las actuaciones de DIXIEMAN se caracterizan por la energía, fuerza y expresividad de sus músicos que logran crear un espectáculo de gran impacto en todas y cada una de sus apariciones. Nuestro estilo es fresco y desenfadado consiguiendo así que nuestras actuaciones sean divertidas para el público tanto de los amantes del Jazz, como de los no iniciados en el mismo. Esta banda, con estilo Nueva Orleans imita a las marching bands de de aquella ciudad, pequeñas bandas animadas que tocaban en las calles y los locales de aquella ciudad a principios del S.XX, así como en funerales y carnavales DIXIEMAN está formado, al igual que las bandas de Nueva Orleans, de una estructura orquestal que comprende seis instrumentos donde se distinguen la sección rítmica y la sección melódica. La sección rítmica está formada por: • Batería • Banjo • Helicón Si actuamos andando por las calles, cambiamos la batería por un Washboard (tabla de lavar) y el banjo sustituye al piano.
