An excellent product delivered on time and within budget, through client collaboration and professional expertise, are the cornerstones of this philosophy.
Our projects strive to be energy efficient, embody lifetime design principles an utilize minimum resourses both during construction and in use. We strive to bring the principals of Passive Design to all of our projects.
Axo Architects was established in 2006 at its base in Castlebar, County Mayo. The practice was established by Michael Horan, who is a registered architect, and has over 20 years of extensive experience in the profession. Michael and hist team has a track record of delivering excellence in architecture across all building types in both the public and private sectors.
The practice is an RIAI registered practice and it is also a conservation accredited practice at Grade III.
Public sector clients include the HSE, Department of Education and Skills, Udaras na Gaeltachta, IDA Ireland, OPW and Donegal VEC. The senior personnel in the practice bring collective experience of successfully delivering projects for the following additional public sector bodies; Sligo County Council, Galway County Council, County Mayo VEC, ESB, and Eir.
The practice only employs RIAI registered architects and architectural technicians who are members of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) or international equivalent.
