Siobhan qualified from Northampton University, England in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree. Once qualified she worked for the NHS in Buckinghamshire and later in London for a private practice. On returning to Ireland in 2008 Siobhan set up and runs her clinic in Castlerea and Knock.
Ongoing CPD plays an integral part of Siobhans practice so that she can keep up to date with the latest developments and research in her field.
In 2018 Siobhan undertook a lever 9 module in the management on the Diabetic Foot to add more in-depth knowledge to her scope of practice.
Podiatrists diagnose and treat abnormalities of the lower limb. Siobhan treats a range of issues from bunions, corns, hard skin, ingrown toe nails, general foot pain and verrucae using a range of clinical skills and experience. Patient education and involvement are very important.
