Dal 1999 la ditta Carusio Giovanni è l'espressione dell'esperienza e della Tradizione di ben quattro generazioni di ceramisti napoletani di nome Illustri quali Borrelli e De Bernardo (rispettivamente bisnonno e nonno del titolare) e del padre Giuseppe Carusio, impegnati nella realizzazione di prodotti tipici. Giuseppe Carusio vanta 50 anni di esperienza lavorativa,dapprima nelle più Importanti ditte di Napoli quali : Freda , Stile, De Palma, Majello e Mollica nelle quali ha acquisito varie specializzazioni tra cui: modellista formatore ritoccatore e fornaciante - e successivamente nella sua ditta poi passata al figlio, Giovanni Carusio. Questi, imparate le basi del lavoro dal padre , si specializza nella pittura, seguendo la propria attitudine. La ditta è impegnata da tempo nella produzione secondo I dettami tradizionali e a tale scopo aderisce ai due consorzi della produzione del Capodimonte: Consorzio Capodimonte e Polo Capodimonte S.c.a.r.l.La produzione si distingue in :
- composizioni Floreali per oggettistica e bomboniere
- Pendenti, orecchini e spille - arte presepiale
- statuine tra cui Pulcinella:la maschera tipica napoletana con varianti a tema (pizza,spaghetti,caffè,etc..)
- animali di diverse specie e formato
- lampadari, lampade e applique
- specchiere e quadri
- arte sacra
- soggetti mitologici
- soggetti a tema per Natale , Pasqua e varie festività
Il prodotto finito è il risultato dell' attenzione ai minimi particolari, nonché al rispetto delle norme dettate dal disciplinare della legge 188/90 ( Marchio C.A.T. - Ceramica Artistica e Tradizionale ) ed in particolar modo all' uso dei colori " a terzo fuoco " con cui si garantisce l' inalterabilità dei colori stessi.
