La Gelateria Caraibi di Scandiano nasce nel 1995, in pieno centro storico della cittadina del Boiardo. Negli ultimi dieci anni è gestita da un'unica famiglia: le sorelle Franzoni, Silvia e Francesca, il marito di Silvia, Silvio, la figlia Angela ed i figli di Francesca, Marilena e Marco ultima arrivata, 4 anni fa, la piccola "mascotte" della gelateria, Cecilia figlia di Marilena. A chi ci chiede il segreto del nostro successo, rispondiamo che non ci sono segreti ma che abbiamo fatto, della qualità una scelta di vita. Utilizziamo solo latte e panna freschi di giornata, frutta scelta e di primissima qualità, uova fresche altamente controllate che poi vengono pastorizzate e zucchero. Niente conservanti ne coloranti. Queste semplici materie prime sono alla base di tutti i nostri gelati. Importante poi la scelta degli ingredienti che trasformano "la base del gelato" nei vari gusti ecco che arrivano i pistacchi di Bronte, le nocciole del Piemonte, i limoni di Sorrento e così via. Per ogni gusto che produciamo viene scelto il meglio che troviamo sul mercato.
