Als osteopaat onderzoek en behandel ik de beweeglijkheid van het gehele lichaam, voornamelijk door te voelen met mijn handen. Daarbij ga ik op zoek naar de oorzaak van uw klacht. Dit is niet altijd de plek waar u de klacht ervaart. Het is mijn bedoeling om het natuurlijke herstelvermogen van uw lichaam te stimuleren.Naast de begeleiding van volwassenen heb ik me gespecialiseerd in alle aspecten rondom Moeder en kind.
Tijdens uw eerste consult beoordeel ik of er osteopathische aangrijpingspunten zijn. Als die er zijn, verwacht ik binnen 2-3 behandelingen dat de klachten duidelijk afnemen; dit is voor mij een voorwaarde om een behandeling zonodig nog te verlengen.

Deze prachtige praktijk aan het Slot 85 heeft een rustgevende uitstraling. Ik kan beschikken over een ruime behandelkamer en een grote centrale wachtruimte. Koffie en(kruiden)thee staan hier voor u klaar.
De praktijk is goed bereikbaar, ook met het openbaar vervoer. Vanaf bushalte Koningshoek ziet u de praktijk liggen.
Nadat we een afspraak hebben gemaakt en u het online intakeformulier hebt ingevuld bespreken we uw klacht (of die van uw kind) en de medische voorgeschiedenis. Tijdens uw eerste bezoek worden deze gegevens uitgebreid met u doorgenomen om een zo een goed mogelijk beeld te krijgen van uw gezondheid of van de gezondheid van uw kind.Vervolgens wordt de beweeglijkheid van het gehele lichaam onderzocht. De resultaten van het onderzoek worden met u besproken. Indien er osteopathische aangrijpingspunten zijn, wordt een behandelplan voorgesteld. De behandeling zelf gebeurt veelal met zachte handgrepen en respect voor het lichaam. Tijdens de behandeling wordt de beweeglijkheid hersteld waardoor het lichaam de gelegenheid krijgt zichzelf weer te genezen.
