Ondersteuning van kwetsbare burgersDe Maatschappelijke Dienstverlening van PuurZuid is wijkgericht georganiseerd en richt zich op burgers met vragen en problemen op het gebied van inkomen, huisvesting, gezinsrelaties, maatschappelijke participatie en gezondheid. Uitgangspunt is dat burgers ondersteund worden bij het verbeteren van hun zelfredzaamheid en het kunnen voeren van eigen regie op hun leven. De teams van de maatschappelijke dienstverlening zijn verdeeld over vijf wijken in het stadsdeel;
1. Marathon-, Hoofddorpplein-, Schinkelbuurt, 2. De Pijp, 3. Rivierenbuurt, 4. Buitenveldert, 5. Museumkwartier-, Apollo-, Willemsparkbuurt. In alle wijken zijn locaties waar de sociaal werkers per team werkzaam zijn.
Schuldhulpverlening
In alle wijkteams zijn schuldhulpverleners werkzaam die zich specifiek richten op bewoners met schuldenproblematiek. De schuldhulpverleners werken nauw samen met de sociaal werkers in de wijkteams.
Jongeren met schulden
Voor jongeren van 18-25 jaar richt PuurZuid zich specifiek op schuldenproblematiek door middel van Jongeren Schuldhulpverlening. Jongeren Schuldhulpverlening wordt in stadsdeel Zuid en in de stadsdelen West en Nieuw-West aangeboden.
Vroeg erop Af
Een apart team van ‘ Vroeg erop Af’ medewerkers helpt burgers die te maken hebben met (dreigende) achterstanden met betalingen van o.a. huur, gas- en licht, zorgverzekeringen. Deze medewerkers gaan op bezoek bij burgers met betalingsachterstanden.
