De praktijk bestaat uit 2 grote oefenzalen van elk 100 m² en is uitgerust met moderne trainingsapparatuur. Hiernaast is de helft van het oppervlak gereserveerd als vrije ruimte voor functionele oefentherapie. Naast deze oefenruimte zijn er 10 fysiotherapieruimtes op de begane grond en nog eens 7 ruimtes op de eerste verdieping. De ruimtes op de eerste verdieping zijn voor meerdere disciplines inzetbaar. Ze zijn zo ingericht dat het bloedlaboratorium, de inspanningsfysiologen en sportartsen er ook gebruik van kunnen maken. De disciplines Kinderfysiotherapie, Acupunctuur en Mensendieck zijn vanaf begin 2008 aan de overkant van het SMC Amsterdam gehuisvest in een kleiner centrum voor overige disciplines. Ons complex ligt gesitueerd centraal tussen voetbalvelden en tennisvelden van het Olympiaplein. Door deze faciliteiten is het mogelijk om de trainingen zowel binnen als buiten op de velden te organiseren. Hierdoor worden extra trainingsvormen zoals looptechniektraining, Fysiofitness, Post-revalidatietraining, Fitzwanger, Bodyfit en Hart & Beweging mogelijk. Vanuit het oogpunt van het moderne functionele trainen is dit uitermate geschikt. Ook worden er revalidatietrajecten in groepsverband gegeven, bijvoorbeeld: een Parkinson trainingsgroep, een MS groep en hartrevalidatie. Buiten het centrum worden tevens een aantal trainingen gefaciliteerd zoals looptraining in het Olympisch stadion.
Uit een patiëntenonderzoek in het SMC Amsterdam blijkt dat de gemiddelde leeftijd van de patiënten tussen de 35 en 50 ligt. Deze cijfers komen overeen met de gemiddelde leeftijd van de inwoners van het stadsdeel Oud Zuid.
