Het Auris College Goes is een school voor Voortgezet Speciaal Onderwijs.Het is een zogenaamde cluster-2-school voor leerlingen van 12 tot 21 jaar, met communicatieve en/of auditieve beperkingen.
Koninklijke Auris Groep
De school is sinds 1 mei 2002 onderdeel van de Koninklijke Auris Groep. De Koninklijke Auris Groep is ontstaan uit een fusie tussen de Koninklijke Ammanstichting in Rotterdam, het Auditief Communicatief Centrum Midden-Nederland en de Stichting Samenwerkingsscholen voor Slechthorende en Spraakgebrekkige kinderen in de provincie Zeeland te Goes.
Onze missie
Auris College Goes geeft onderwijs aan leerlingen van 12 tot 21 jaar met een cluster-2-indicatie in het verzorgingsgebied Zeeland en het aangrenzend deel van Noord-Brabant.
We geven kwalitatief hoogwaardig onderwijs, ongeacht hun maatschappelijke positie of levensovertuiging.
Dankzij de door ons aangeboden uitdagende leeromgeving ontdekken en ontplooien leerlingen hun talenten.
De leerlingen leren te reflecteren op hun ontwikkeling.
Mede hierdoor hebben ze de kans om een zo goed mogelijk passende plaats te verwerven in het sociale leven, in arbeid of in vervolgonderwijs.
