Auris helpt mensen met communiceren. Of het nu gaat om gehoorproblemen, om spraak- en/of taal problemen of een vorm van autisme.Auris helpt door onderzoek te doen en begeleiding of zorg te geven. Ook biedt Auris passend of speciaal onderwijs. Door goed te luisteren naar de wensen en vragen van de klant en die te combineren met onze kennis en ervaring, bieden wij een passend aanbod. Mocht het nodig zijn dan doen we dit in samenwerking met andere organisaties.
Auris is de professionele partner van mensen die ondersteuning nodig hebben bij horen, spreken of taal.
Onze missie krijgt gezicht in de dagelijkse praktijk. Auris biedt diensten en producten aan in het Nederlandstalig gebied.
De kernactiviteiten zijn voorlichting, preventie, diagnostiek, begeleiding, behandeling en scholing. We doen dat zelf, samen met anderen, of weten de weg naar andere aanbieders.
Wij starten vanuit de vraag van de cliënt en gaan in dialoog op zoek naar antwoorden. Auris streeft naar optimale participatie van de cliënt in de maatschappij. Dat betekent niet alleen ondersteuning bij leren en onderwijs, maar ook bij de voorbereiding op leven en werken in de maatschappij.
Het doel is dat zij zo veel mogelijk zelfstandig hun leven leiden en deelnemen aan de maatschappij.

Gehoorproblemen bij jonge kinderen worden steeds eerder ontdekt. Auris werkt nauw samen met het Erasmus Medisch Centrum in Rotterdam, om deze kinderen optimaal te kunnen helpen.
