In samenwerking met een vast bestand van loodgieters, elektriciens en stukadoors nemen wij uw gehele verbouwing aan. Tevens werken wij nauw samen met een bouwkundig bureau die uw tekening en vergunning kan regelen.Wij zijn lid van BouwGarant. In 1984 is Bouwbedrijf Overdevest opgericht door C.J. Overdevest samen met zijn zoon Richard. De eerste jaren was het bedrijf gevestigd aan de Korte Zijlstraat in de binnenstad. Sinds 2006 zijn wij gevestigd aan de Koudenhorn 50, schuin tegenover molen de Adriaan. In de afgelopen jaren is het personeelsbestand uitgegroeid van 4 tot 11 personen.
Momenteel werken er 8 timmerlieden, 1 calculator/projectbegeleider en 1 administratief medewerkster onder leiding van Richard Overdevest.
De heer C.J. Overdevest was vanaf 1958 actief als aannemer in Haarlem. Hij was gespecialiseerd in restauraties en heeft diverse bekende gebouwen in Haarlem gerestaureerd; zoals de kloostergangen van het Stadhuis, de toren van de Nieuwe Kerk op het Kerksplein en de voormalige Bank van Lening in de Kleine Houtstraat.
Deze kennis is nog steeds aanwezig in het huidige bedrijf.
