De deskundigheid van de fysiotherapeut is de kennis van het houdings- en bewegingsapparaat van de mens. Wanneer men klachten van het houdings- en/of bewegingsapparaat ervaart, brengt de fysiotherapeut deze in kaart en kan door middel van o.a. mobilisaties, massage, fysiotechniek, oefentherapie en adviezen het lichaam worden hersteld.In de praktijk hebben wij tevens een kleine oefenruimte waar getraind kan worden, bijvoorbeeld na een heup- of knieoperatie, t.a.v. kracht- en/of conditietraining.
Oedeem betekent overmatige ophoping van vocht in de intercellulaire ruimte.
Dit kan primaire (aangeboren afwijking van het lymfesysteem) of secondaire (na een operatie) ontstaan. Het reduceren van de vochtophoping wordt door middel van manuele lymfe drainage, bandageren, adviezen t.a.v. huidverzorging en oefentherapie bereikt.
Sinds 2006 is Fysiotherapie direct toegankelijk. D.w.z. dat men eventueel zonder verwijzing van een huisarts of specialist een afspraak met de fysiotherapeut kan maken.
Fysiotherapie kan ook aan huis worden verzorgd, wanneer men niet in staat is om naar de praktijk te komen.
Met alle ziektekostenverzekeringsmaatschappijen hebben wij contracten afgesloten.
Declaraties worden direct naar de verzekeringsmaatschappij toegestuurd.
