De keuze is aan U!In 1983 is dhr. Karel Hoeve begonnen als een eenmansonderneming. Na een jarenlange ervaring in de export begon hij aan een nieuwe uitdaging, het importeren van uitheemse vissoorten voor de Nederlandse markt. Het bedrijf richtte zich toen en nu nog steeds op: groothandels, horecaleveranciers en visdetaillisten.
Vandaag de dag is Karel Hoeve uitgegroeid tot een All-round vishandel met een breed en diep assortiment van zowel uitheemse als inheemse vissoorten en hun producten. Ons afzetgebied is met name Europa maar ook daarbuiten beleveren wij hen die in ons een betrouwbare partner gevonden hebben als het gaat om kwaliteit en continuïteit.

is in IJmuiden gevestigd, de één na grootste aanvoerhaven van verse vis in Nederland, de grootste aanvoerhaven van Europa in diepgevroren pelagische vissoorten. Verder ligt IJmuiden op een steenworp afstand van de nationale luchthaven Schiphol / Amsterdam en is IJmuiden het logistieke centrum als het gaat om gegroepeerd verstransport naar alle belangrijke viscentra in Europa.
Ons team van inkopers zorgt voor adequate voorraden en volgen ieder uur de ontwikkelingen op de aanvoermarkten. Zij informeren de verkopers over de mogelijkheden maar gaan ook doelgericht op zoek om de vraag uit de markt te kunnen beantwoorden. Doordat wij dit dagelijks waarmaken mogen wij de meeste vis- en horecagrossiers in Europa al jarenlang tot onze vaste klantenkring rekenen.
Vanuit ons modern ingerichte bedrijfspand zijn wij in staat de producten bij de optimale condities te verwerken en op te slaan. Bij de inrichting is er met zorg gekozen voor duurzame en goed reinigbare materialen.
