Op deze website vindt u informatie over onze verloskundige praktijk. De praktijk is sinds 2007 gevestigd in Zuidwest Friesland. De drie verloskundigen, José Reitsma-Galema, Eefje Stellingwerff-Flapper en Tryntsje Postma, zijn werkzaam in Workum, Koudum en Balk en tussenliggende gebieden. Ook zwangere vrouwen en hun partners uit Woudsend zijn welkom in de praktijk.De verloskundigen zorgen voor een prettige begeleiding van de zwangerschap, bevalling en kraamperiode. In de zwangerschap nodigen wij u uit voor onder andere de termijnecho, een intakegesprek, een counselinggesprek over onderzoek naar o.a. het syndroom van Down, Patau en Edwards en verdere zwangerschapscontroles tot aan de bevalling. De praktijk heeft spreekuur in Koudum, Balk, Workum en Warns. Wij kunnen u begeleiden bij uw thuisbevalling of, indien u dat wenst, in het ziekenhuis (poliklinisch). Indien daar een medische reden voor is zullen wij u verwijzen naar de gynaecoloog en verloskundige in het ziekenhuis. Na de bevalling zullen wij nog een aantal keer bij u thuis komen voor de begeleiding van het kraambed. Na ongeveer zes weken sluiten de verloskundigen de periode af door middel van een nacontrole op de praktijk.
