Van Dalen Metals Recycling & Trading is een familiebedrijf dat is opgericht en gestart in 1947 te Hendrik Ido Ambacht met activiteiten zoals het slopen van schepen en be- en verwerken van metaalhoudende reststoffen. De fundamenten die de vorige eeuw zijn gelegd, hebben ertoe geleid dat de organisatie is gegroeid tot een gespecialiseerde en gerenommeerde onderneming op het gebied van inzameling, bewerking, recycling en verhandeling van alle soorten Ferro en Non-Ferro metalen.In de loop der jaren heeft de organisatie o.a. investeringen gedaan in machines zoals schaar en persinstallaties om de volumes en verschillende kwaliteitsspecificaties uit te breiden t.b.v. onze afnemers. In 1982 is de organisatie overgenomen door de huidige eigenaar en enig aandeelhouder de heer Rudolph van Dalen jr. De organisatie heeft daaropvolgend diverse strategische aankopen gedaan in Nederland, België en Engeland met in totaal 13 operationele locaties welke in de nabijheid van waterwegen, autowegen en zeehaven zijn gelegen.
De organisatie beschikt in totaal over 5 shredder installaties, 6 schaarinstallaties, 2 mobiele schaarinstallaties, 2 pers installaties en een non-ferro flotatie-installatie die gemiddeld een jaarproductie van anderhalf miljoen ton aan ferro metalen per jaar be- en verwerken.
Met het oog op de toekomst en de ontwikkelingen daarin, zoals verdergaande recycling, duurzaamheid en de aanscherping van de wet en regelgeving, blijft de organisatie investeren in de nieuwste technieken om dynamisch te kunnen inspelen op de wensen van onze leveranciers en afnemers.
Met al onze mogelijkheden bieden wij onze klanten maatwerkoplossingen tegen marktconforme tariefstellingen en opbrengsten.
