In 2008 zag Cycle Trend Nuenen het levenslicht vanuit een invalshoek zoals maar weinig winkels ooit ontstaan zijn. Het toenmalige Dolphin-Trek mountainbike team met o.a. Bart Brentjens en Rudi van Houts stond onder het management van eigenaar Ralf van Heugten. Er werd een combinatie gemaakt van winkel met team op 1 locatie in Nuenen. Het bleek in de praktijk echter onmogelijk om beide goed te combineren en was de keuze simpel om vanaf 2009 vol voor de winkel te gaan met als naam Cycle Trend.De winkel is enorm gegroeid de laatste jaren en een vast ervaren team zorgt goed voor de klanten in de regio en Nuenen lokaal. Ervaring laat zich ook gelden met medewerkers die deelgenoot zijn geweest van o.a. de Olympische Spelen.
In 2013 heeft Nuenen ook een SANTOS store geopend in de showroom, dus ook in Nuenen voortaan alles voor de actieve vakantie fietser met het complete assortiment van dit Nederlandse topmerk.
2014 stond vooral in het teken van de komst van het absolute topmerk Specialized. Naast de fietsen heeft Nuenen inmiddels het predicaat “Elite Store” waarbij het complete aanbod aanwezig is en er veel aandacht is voor het Body Geometry Fit programma mede ontwikkeld door Specialized.
Nuenen is inmiddels ook het epi centrum geworden voor de online shop, een mooie combinatie voor onze klanten.
Ook het overbrengen van kennis vinden we zeer belangrijk, geregeld organiseren we clinics, evenementen en informatieve avonden.
In 2016 is er grote stap gezet met een complete verhuizing naar een absolute a-locatie, slechts 20 meter verwijderd van het oude pand is er het vernieuwde Cycle Trend aan de Duivendijk 5a geopend. Een mooie belevings winkel met duidelijk assortiment en een buitenterras op het binnen terrein.
