Voor alle bewegingsvragen van algemene aard is algemene fysiotherapie het juiste startpunt.Een algemeen fysiotherapeut behandelt individuele patiënten en groepen van mensen met klachten die 'algemeen' zijn. Daarmee bedoelen we dat deze klachten niet horen bij een specifiek ziektebeeld of klachtenpatroon. Het doel van de behandeling is om u meer bewegingsvrijheid te geven en daarmee een betere kwaliteit van leven.
Behandelplan.
De fysiotherapeut stelt hiervoor samen met u een behandelplan op. Uitgangspunt hierbij zijn uw wensen, uw lichamelijke situatie en eventuele andere (gezondheids)factoren. Vervolgens helpt de fysiotherapeut u met adviezen en oefeningen op weg naar een leven met meer bewegingsvrijheid.
Preventief.
Daarnaast werkt de algemeen fysiotherapeut preventief: hij helpt u bij het voorkomen van blessures of het verergeren van chronische klachten.
