Based on the client's needs, and local circumstances, Boreel Medical Consultancy can provide extensive information, advice, training, recommendations and tailor-made solutions for Company management. Recommendations will include advice on required vaccinations, prophylactic drugs and other important local preventive and protective measures for the individual employees.
When personnel abroad does get sick or injured, besides personal suffering, for the company this will incur financial loss, loss of workforce and possibly damage to the company's reputation.
Based on an actual personal medical reconnaissance of the local destination, Boreel Medical Consultancy will also provide real-time accurate and reliable information on local medical facilities and will advice, which facilities would be most preferable and appropriate to provide the best available level of healthcare for expats and local travellers.
When required, Boreel Medical Consultancy can provide advice, liaison and coordination, should there be a necessity to hospitalise, evacuate or repatriate employees with health problems.
Last but not least, Boreel Medical Consultancy, in concert with company's needs and policies, will help to find solutions, if needed out-of-the-box, for all health related issues regarding employees who are, or will be sent abroad.
About myself?: I am a former Navy Doctor with 27 years of experience in Expeditionary Operational Medicine, Operational Medical Planning at executive staff levels, and a Senior Advisory role on Health Risk Analysis, Preventive Medicine and Immunisations to the Dutch Ministry of Defence.
