De praktijk voor orthomoleculaire en leefstijlgeneeskunde vindt u in Den Bosch. Ik, Wouter Nieboer, regulier arts, ben opgeleid aan de V.U te Amsterdam. Na mijn studie heb ik een opleiding in de sociale geneeskunde gevolgd. Wat ik daarvan vooral heb meegenomen is het belang van preventie !.Omdat ik daarnaast ook curatief bezig wilde zijn ben ik bij de NAAV aan een acupunctuuropleiding begonnen die ik in 1989 succesvol heb afgerond. Na mijn werk als sociaal geneeskundige heb ik 7 jaar op een asielzoekerscentrum gewerkt als " huisarts". Door veranderingen in de werkinhoud ben ik teruggekeerd in mijn oorspronkelijke beroep.7 jaar terug raakte ik mijn baan door een reorganisatie kwijt. Een jaar nadien ben ik uit interesse ,bij de S.O.E, de opleiding tot orthomoleculair therapeut gaan volgen. Na het behalen van mijn diploma ben ik in mijn praktijk aan huis met veel plezier aan de slag als orthomoleculair therapeut. Ook hier ligt, evenals in de sociale geneeskunde, de nadruk op preventie. Goede voeding, met oog voor eventuele tekorten, naast voldoende beweging en een aanvaardbaar gewicht plus een goed sociaal netwerk dragen positief bij aan uw gezondheid. Ik vind het een uitdaging om samen met u te zoeken naar de beste oplossing voor uw klachten. Via het afnemen van een anamnese probeer ik achter de oorzaak van uw klachten te komen.Het uitgangspunt van de orthomoleculaire geneeskunde is een beroep te doen op het zelf genezend vermogen van lichaam en geest. Ortho staat voor juist, moleculair voor : met betrekking tot de moleculen. Je wilt de juiste moleculen aanbieden aan de lichaamscel. Met orthomoleculaire adviezen kunnen veel ziekteprocessen positief worden beïnvloed. In mijn praktijk als orthomoleculair therapeut wil ik het beste van de reguliere gezondheidszorg en de orthomoleculaire zienswijze combineren. Omdat de kosten van een consult niet door zorgverzekeraars worden vergoed hanteer ik een extra lage prijsstelling.
