Pal aan de Rijndijk in Tolkamer vindt u het kleine en gezellige Dijkzicht. Dijkzicht is een rustige kleine afdeling met betrokken en enthousiaste medewerkers en vrijwilligers. Er is veel aandacht voor de individuele wensen en behoeften van cliënten.U vindt Dijkzicht op de begane grond van Lobede. In de drie huiskamers wonen in totaal twintig ouderen met dementie en drie cliënten met lichamelijke problemen. De afdeling is zo ontworpen en ingericht dat het dementerende bewoners houvast en veiligheid biedt.
Er is veel aandacht voor privacy, huiselijkheid en structuur. Dagelijkse en huiselijke dingen die bewoners gewend waren te doen, worden zoveel mogelijk voortgezet. Denk hierbij bijvoorbeeld aan tuinieren, vogels verzorgen en het doen van huishoudelijk werk.
Wij vinden het belangrijk dat partners, mantelzorgers en familie betrokken blijven bij de bewoners. Die betrokkenheid kan op verschillende manieren worden ingevuld. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan assisteren bij de zorg voor partner en/of familie of helpen in de huiskamer. De medewerkers denken graag met u mee over de mogelijkheden.
