Op onze basisschool informeren we elkaar op tijd en proberen altijd onduidelijkheden te voorkomen.We gaan uit van een optimale inzet en van de wil elkaar te ondersteunen.
Basis voor ons onderwijs is ieders betrokkenheid. Onze coöperatieve werkvormen stimuleren dit.
Wij bieden ruimte aan ontwikkeling en leren op een eigen manier en in eigen tempo.
Wij volgen actief nieuwe ontwikkelingen en geven die aan elkaar door.
De tussenschoolse opvang wordt voor de leerlingen van de Kardinaal Alfrinkschool en de Koningin Beatrixschool samen georganiseerd. Dit wordt gedaan door de Stichting Humanitas. Deze stichting heeft voor ons een TSO een coördinatrice (Thelma Macdaniel) aangesteld, en daarnaast zijn er verschillende vrijwilligers (voornamelijk ouders) actief.
De kinderen van groep 1 t/m 4 eten in de aula van het schoolgebouw, waarna ze gaan buitenspelen op het plein. Bij regen spelen ze in de aula en in het speellokaal van de school.
De kinderen van groep 5 t/m 8 eten in 2 lokalen van de Koningin Beatrixschool. Voor èn na het eten is er voor hen buiten een gevarieerd spelaanbod, waarbij de kinderen ook zelf hun inbreng kunnen hebben.
