Gelukkig zijn, dat is wat mensen willen. Meer nog dan geld en succes of zelfs gezondheid. Wie iemands diepste wens wil begrijpen, stelt de vraag: “Wanneer zou u volmaakt gelukkig zijn?” Geluk komt vanbinnen, kun je niet maken. Maar eraan bijdragen dat iemand zich gelukkig voelt, dat is het mooiste dat er is. Voor velen was het ooit de reden om de zorg in te gaan: mensen een beetje gelukkiger laten zijn.
Dat is ook wat Sensire beweegt, wat ons elke dag stimuleert om dat stapje extra te zetten. Goede zorg verlenen, goed met onze verantwoordelijkheid omgaan, kundig zijn: dat mag je van elke organisatie verwachten. Maar wij verlenen geen goede zorg ‘omdat het moet’: we doen dat omdat we om mensen geven, om hun geluk. Zo pakken we niet alleen onze zorgverantwoordelijkheid op, zo richten we ook onze organisatie in. We weten wat bijdraagt aan geluk: eigen wensen, eigen gewoonten, eigen omgeving.
Samen met het sociale netwerk van onze klant en met alle andere betrokkenen daaromheen bouwen we aan dat geluk. In de wetenschap dat veel dingen die geluk zo heel gewoon maken, met de jaren steeds minder vanzelfsprekend worden. En juist dan zetten wij die extra stap.
Geluk is niet maakbaar en wij zijn dus ook geen producenten van geluk. We nemen de verantwoordelijkheid voor het geluk van onze klanten ook niet op onze schouders maar laten die verantwoordelijkheid daar waar deze hoort: bij onze klant. Gelukkig zijn is hard werken, ook voor onze klanten. En hoe dichter je bij iemand staat, hoe beter je hem of haar gelukkig kunt maken. Daarom is de inzet van familie en vrienden onmisbaar. Als Achterhoekse zorgorganisatie geven we juist vrienden en familie alle ruimte om bij te dragen aan het geluk van onze klant.
