Onze paardenartsenpraktijk is gevestigd in het zuidelijk deel van Noord-Holland, te Zwaanshoek.We helpen paarden op stal (eerste lijns) en op de praktijk (tweedelijns). We proberen zoveel mogelijk de paarden op stallocatie te onderzoeken en behandelen, tenzij dit nadelig kan zijn voor de kwaliteit van het onderzoek, de veiligheid, of aanschaf van een mobiel apparaat ten koste zou gaan van ons totale pakket onderzoeksmogelijkheden.
Onder eerste lijns dienstverlening vallen alle werkzaamheden op stallen, dus natuurlijk ook de spoedgevallen. Als de nood aan de man is, kan goede hulp heel belangrijk worden. In avonduren en weekenden is bij ons altijd een ervaren erkend Paardenarts aan het werk. Om bij spoedgevallen een goede service te kunnen verzorgen, houden wij bovendien onze werkregio voor eerste lijns dienstverlening beperkt. Onze regio ligt ruwweg tussen Castrictum tot en met Lisse/Noordwijk. En tussen de Noordzeekust tot Abcoude. Ook verlenen wij de spoedservice alleen aan eigen klanten (maar hier zijn natuurlijk wel eens uitzonderingen op). Voor tweedelijns dienstverlening geldt uiteraard geen regionale beperking.
Omdat apparaten mobieler worden gemaakt, zagen we enige een verschuiving van enige tweedelijnsactiviteiten naar stallocaties. Iedere praktijk heeft hierin een eigen manier van werken ontwikkeld, wij dus ook. Kwaliteit van het onderzoek zetten wij daarbij graag voorop, omdat wij weten dat dit uiteindelijk veelbetekenend kan zijn. En nog lang niet ieder apparaat is geschikt om te reizen.
