Nursing New Zealand provide up to 24 hr support staff in all areas of personal care, based on assessed need. We also specialise in supporting clients that have sustained serious injuries such as spinal or brain injuries, throughout the South Island. All nursing and support staff who work with our clients are Nursing New Zealand ambassadors. We ensure that all staff share our company’s values. We aim to meet your needs using a partnership approach in the delivery of holistic client support.Areas of service provisions include:HOME HELP• Meal preparation – including assistance with shopping, cooking, cleaning of dishes• Laundry – including washing, drying and ironing• Cleaning – including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, cleaning bathroom and toilet, taking out rubbishPERSONAL CARE & ADVANCED ATTENDANT CARE• Provision of support to clients that maintains their safety• Assistance with personal hygiene activities and personal grooming• Assistance with meeting all nutritional needs• Mobility support that includes inside the home and in the community if needed• Provision of support to maintain and develop skills such as planning, personal orientation, task completion and interactions with other peopleCOMPANION CARE, OVERNIGHT or CARER/ RESPITE SUPPORTThis includes:• the provision of post illness support• companionship with activities and outings• overnight support usually involves support to prepare for bed and some intermittent support during the night.• relief support if staying out of town• provision of relief or respite to a family member who normally cares for someone in their familyCHILD CAREThis can be provided on a relief or permanent basis, and staff are especially selected to meet individual specific needs.
