Nova Montessori Centre Charitable Trust announce term three openingof its Ecological-Sustainable New Facility: A Childrens House for Ages Three to Six year olds.Nova Montessori School, established in 1989 as the first primary Montessori school on the South Island, announces the completion of construction and the opening of new facilities to include children from three to six years of age. Local architect, Russel Devlin, who is known throughout the country for ecologically sensitive, sustainable building development, designed the buildings. The structures are not only designed to accommodate ecological awareness, but they are âÂÂhealthy environmentsâ that reduce the risks of spreading germs by using airflows that âÂÂbreathe.âÂÂMaria Montessori, the first woman physician in Italian history, discovered that children learn according to sensitive periods in their development.
