The Nurtury, is a purpose built Early Childcare Service focused on delivering exceptional care & education to the youngest children in our community. We offer a lifestyle choice and with our homelike interior, couches and home away from home feel, your children grow into happier and healthier adults.The Nurtury is set on 6000m2 (1 and 1/2 acres) between Halswell and Hornby, just a few convenient moments from the main routes into the City. Very different to other centres, the children at the Nurtury benefit from the freedom of space, being able to move and grow, roll down the hill and play in real grass.The farm animals provide an opportunity to learn empathy, and caring for another creature teaches them how to care for each other. The pig, goat, rabbits, pet rats and chickens enjoy the daily attention of the children as well as the food scraps they bring from the kitchen and vege garden.We actively practise a Primary Care Giving Philosophy. This means that there is someone special to your child and your child is special to someone.
