About

Servicing North Shore, Whangaparaoa, Silverdale and Auckland. With my dingo, excavator, tip truck, and the large amount of attachments I can quickly and easily do the job of multiple contractors or a large gang of labourers.Hi, my name is Chris Barrett. I started Dingo Mini-Dig Services in September 2002. I have the expertise and experience to do your job well. All my working life I have operated and maintained large and small machines. My dingo can be fitted with tracks as plastic tracks don't damage your paths and driveway and they grip in wet conditions which would make tyres unworkable. The dingo is a small machine, but is incredibly versatile, and strong. It is cost effective because it is fast and for a small machine it is surprising what it can carry per load (as much as a small bobcat). It has the power of a much bigger machine. The many attachments can be attached very quickly to this hydraulic power plant, saving you time spent on multiple contractors. My machines are capable of doing large dig outs such as for basements and swimming pools, or small difficult areas. The K94 Dingo that I have, can fit through a gap of under a metre, and the excavator is only 750mm wide, making them ideal for tricky situations, with my experience making the job easier, and my tip truck can fit where larger trucks will not go.One of the many interesting jobs I have done was achieved by driving the machines inside a house, down a passage to an area on the other side of the house. Another was a job working on a garden inside an Auckland City Hotel. My machines have been transported by air and sea, and (if the site is inaccessible) craned over top of houses to jobs. Also, because the machines are light ramps can sometimes be used to get to areas.I have developed attachments to drill holes up to 6 metres deep and 600mm wide (much more than the standard depth.I work for a number of contractors in the building, fencing, landscaping trades, and do a lot of residential work. Most of my work is from referrals and repeat jobs.I am happy to come and look at your job and if you need advice I have the experience and ingenuity to solve most problems and can give you a free quote.
