Basically you download the Trackstick Manager Programme (free), download Google Earth, turn the Trackstick Mini on (it has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, that recharges via your USB on your computer, the battery life is approximately 80 hours). Once it has logged onto a satellite, it flickers green and it will record all traveled data, speed, time, date, temperature etc via a red line which can be quickly viewed via Google earth. It will show where it has been, how long it has been there as well as the above information. It will also tell you if the device has been switched off.
Another unique feature of the Trackstick is in its ability to show detailed maps of all recorded history without installing any special software. By exporting to .html, the location histories can be viewed on any computer with Internet Explorer and an internet connection.
