Service Area
At present we service all of Christchurch which includes as far north as Ohoka and as far south as Ashburton. These outlying areas are subject to a travel fee which is covered in price list.
Specialised Hygiene
CHS owns a hygiene franchise purchased Australia called PureProtect. You can visit us at www.pureprotect.co.nz. We specialise in the provision of Mould Kill & Removal, Odour Removal and deep cleaning programmes. There are a large number of services we can offer but we have decided to focus on the ones listed below.
Mould Kill & Removal
We offer comprehensive 'Mould Assessment Reports' to determine the level of the problem, probable causes and the recommended course of action. We can also provide 'Independent Laboratory Testing' of the mould and air quality, if a customer wishes.
Mould kill and removal service a unique and unmatched in New Zealand. We use a process called Gas Infusion Technology (GIT). We acquired this technology Australia which was used to treat homes in the Queensland Floods and Cyclone Katrina in New Orleans. We have treated entire homes (i.e. sub-floors, interior of the home and roof cavities) for EQR/Fletchers. Conventional treatment for large mould colonies is to take the wall out and replace it. The advantage of GIT is that it penetrates porous building materials and is able to reach in behind wall cavities to kill mould avoiding the need to remove walls and replacing them. This is a much more cost and time effective treatment than conventional methods. It is also a lot less hassle.
Our methods for removing mould include using our hospital grade dry vapour steamer/vacuum for ceilings, walls, floors, around window frames and tracks. We also have a commercial vacuum to remove mould and use microfibre cloths for any spot cleaning.
Odour Removal
Gas Infusion Technology is also effective in killing odour causing bacteria. So we also employ this method as part of our Odour Removal programme. We also have an Ozone which is also effective for removing odour. If a customer wishes we can also provide 'Independent Laboratory Testing' of the air quality.
Healthy Homes Programme
Most of us spend more than 90% of our lives indoors with a large proportion of this in our own homes. Our homes are so important to us, it is here we should feel safe, we can relax and unwind our busy lives and enjoy our families. With our Healthy Homes Programme we are able to provide people with a cleansed and sanitised home. The programmes we employ to achieve this are:

We have experience in a number of areas of property maintenance. We decided to focus on Window Cleaning, Exterior House Washing, Gutter Cleaning and Roof Cleaning, Treatment & Coating.
Other areas of property maintenance we have experience in are brick and block laying and the installation of ventilation systems but have decided to put these aside for the time being.
Window Cleaning Service
We have 10 years experience window cleaning and guarantee the quality of our work. We do high ladder work using a squeegee to provide a show home finish. We can also use our hospital grade dry vapour steamer/vacuum to kill and remove mould around window frames and tracks.

Exterior House Washing Service
We provide a range of techniques for exterior house washing depending on the building materials. For weather board and cedar wood we provide a soft brush and water so as not to damage the paint. For permanent materials we use water blasters.

Gutter Maintenance Services
No job is too big! When we get big jobs we work with Waimak Property Maintenance who specialise in gutter maintenance, repairs and installation. In addition to gutter cleaning we also offer a snow strapping service.
Roof Maintenance Service
We have cleaned roofs to improve the value of the home for immediate sale. We have treated roofs using products that weather away moss, algae, mould etc. After cleaning a roof we can coat it with our patented non-toxic anti-microbial coating (Zoonocide) that provides the roof with a layer of protection the growth of moss, algae, mould etc.
