Kids at Home understands having both parents working outside the home is often a necessity rather than a choice so we have our educators/nannies care for your child in the home in much the same way you would.
Children are cared for in small groups of up to four; meaning lots of individual attention where interests and talents can be recognised and developed.
The homebased environment is perfect for babies, who are often overwhelmed & unsettled by a busy centre environment.

All educators/nannies are Police & CYFS-checked prior to starting with us & rigorously interviewed for suitability. They all have First Aid certs.
Premises where care is carried out are checked regularly for safety by our trained professionals.
We operate under NZ's early childhood curriculum, Te Whaariki. We are partially funded by the Ministry of Education and subject to their requirements/regulations.
WINZ, 20 Hours ECE & other subsidies available - many families in our service pay very little for the high level of care & education their child receives.
Children & their educators/nannies are visited at least monthly by qualified Early Childhood Visiting Teachers who specialise in the homebased environment.
FREE - weekly play and music groups. Fortnightly gymnastics group. Regular excursions to Donkey Farm, Fire Station etc. These groups/excursions offer children stimulation & opportunities for peer interaction.
Children receive a learning portfolio documenting their learning & development whilst in care.
We are Waikato's multiple birth specialists & can assist with accessing subsidies, as well as our own subsidy - which greatly increases your entitlement.
