Ann Jay's (AJ) vision is to work with women and couples to empower, inspire, develop lasting relationship and lifestyle changes. Ann combines her passion for people and years of experience in nursing, counselling and coaching skills, which enables her to help people to really stay motivated and transform their relationships and wellbeing. Individual Women's Counselling There are times in everybody’s life where having someone to turn to is vital when stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, feeling socially disconnected, relationships or work, start to affect our overall health and happiness. Ann will listen, support, and suggest strategies to help you to understand both yourself and the behaviour of others, which can make us view the world differently. Relationship Counselling No matter how much we love our partners there are periods when our relationships turn ‘pear-shaped’ and we find ourselves distanced and disconnected. We can fall into a pattern of negative cycles when what we are desperately needing is intimacy and acceptance. Ann can help you to understand these negative patterns and assist with changing these cycles into more positive, productive ones. You can have relationships where we are accepted, supported, feel cherished and are loved. Ann is a member of New Zealand Association of Counsellors (provisional), receives regular professional supervision, and keeps up to date with current research and theory.
