We are not a warehouse or a barn - we sell quality dressmaking, patchwork and needlework supplies, with knowledgeable staff that can help you select the right project, fabric and trim for your project.We have a great range of embroidery kits and patterns including hardanger patterns, a range of silk ribbons and hand dyed threads. We stock DMC threads, including fabulous metallics, and a range of Zweigart fabrics for your embroidery needs. We sell our embroidery fabrics in a size to suit you - we cut to your measurements - width and length - and don't go without having your fabric edges overlocked - all part of the service at Stitchin' Stuff.At Stitchin Stuff we sell and service Bernina Sewing Machines and Accessories and run a great Bernina Club and other sewing and craft classes (see classes). Between the Bernette and Bernina range of machines we can provide a sewing machine for whatever your skill level. We take the time to recommend the right machine for you and to ensure that you know how to use it. All our Bernina's come with basic classes and our 'hands on' Bernina Club Classes. We also stock most of the accessories available for your Bernina and, because we use the machines ourselves, we know which accessory is best for your needs and we are happy to demonstrate their use.Our patchwork fabric ranges from country to brights and hand dyes with a good range of florals too. We have a good assortment of patterns and accessories for your patchwork and quilting needs. We offer regular beginners classes.In 2007, we added Dressmaking fabrics and patterns to our product range. We love dressmaking ourselves and we stock a good range of quality dress fabrics. In addition we can order specialty fabrics for your bridal party needs. We stock Butterick, New Look, Burda, Simplicity and Kwik Sew Patterns.In addition, don't go past the jewellery beads and findings, or the bag patterns and kitsets. Both very popular at the moment - we just love beading and embellishment and there are so many exquisite trims to choose from - come and have a browse!! We are easy to find on Te Awamutu's main Street (#54 Alexandra St) between the ANZ bank and Salvadors - a delightful French coffee shop.
