Nicole is a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist with over 40 years of musical experience playing in orchestras, bands, and shows, and teaching musical instruments. Lessons are usually either 30 minutes or 45 minutes. For younger children, 30 minute lessons are recommended. Lessons are usually weekly, at the same day and time. Children's lessons typically run with the school terms. Lessons during school holidays are available by arrangement. Tuition is tailored to meet the needs of individual students. In general, this will cover reading musical notation, music theory, playing pieces, scales and exercises, learning to read music as you learn to play. Examinations can be prepared for if desired by the student. You may also have the opportunity to learn some of your favourite songs and pieces, as these can be arranged to suit the tastes and abilities of each player.
