The University of Warsaw Library is situated in Powisle district in Dobra street. It is located between Wisla (Vistula) river and the main Campus of the University. It takes about 10 minutes to walk the escarpment up to the Campus and the Royal Route (Krakowskie Przedmiescie street). The library boasts a marvellous roof garden, which is one of the largest and most beautiful roof gardens in Europe. It is a perfect recreation area for Varsovians, open to the public every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m (from November 1 - March 31, from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m.). All segments of the garden are interconnected with paths, bridges, and pergolas. From the bridges and the view terrace on the roof visitors can see a panorama of Warsaw and the Vistula river. You
