The Lindon Utah Temple was announced on 4 October 2020 by Pres. Russell M. Nelson as the 25th temple in the state. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 23 April 2022. Plans call for a three-story building of approximately 81,000 square feet with two equally-sized spires.
