Georges Magnin, ancien administrateur postal puis directeur de l’Association fribourgeoise du Terroir, Bourgeois d’Honneur et ancien Syndic « Maire » de Grandvillard, passé par la gestion d’une pêcherie à Madagascar, a toujours rêvé de monter son restaurant.Le rêve se concrétise en 2005, non pas dans sa Gruyère natale, mais aux portes de Genève, à Chêne-Bougeries. Le succès le conduit à ouvrir un deuxième établissement à Genève près de la gare centrale puis un autre à Plainpalais. Sa force ? Le meilleur réseau possible de producteurs indépendants, fromagers comme charcutiers ou encore de transmettre sa passion et son envie de maintenir et mettre en valeur un « savoir-faire »régional. Le Gruyérien s’est vite taillé la réputation de meilleure fondue d’ici et d’ailleurs et son concept existe déjà en franchise pour le monde entier sous l’appellation « LittleSwiss™ ».
Amoureux du terroir, ce passionné s’émancipe aussi dans la nouveauté, comme avec sa fondue bûcheronne et ses fourchettes brevetées™ ainsi que dans l’événementiel en Suisse et à l’étranger.
