PrésentationÉbéniste de formation et amoureux du bel ouvrage en bois, j’ai à cœur de mettre en avant notre savoir-faire suisse. La création de ce site est le résultat du désir de faire découvrir à tout un chacun des articles en bois de belle facture conçus et exécutés dans nos contrées.
Matière naturelle, vivante et chaleureuse, le bois est le matériau essentiel et souvent sublimé par nos talentueux artisans.
Notre boutique en ligne lobjetbois.ch regroupe une multitude d’articles en bois fabriqués par des artisans suisses et participant à la vie économique de leur région. Ces objets sont le fruit de rencontres, dialogues et savoir-faire de Romandie, notamment avec des personnes en situation d’handicap, travaillant dans des ateliers dédiés à la transformation du bois.
Il est une réponse concrète aux considérations écologiques de plus en plus présentes dans les attentes des amateurs de design qui apprécient le bois dans tous ses états.
VIVRE NOTRE SAVOIR-FAIRE SUISSE
Martial Hegel
Adolescent, lors d’une présentation des métiers du bois, j’ai aimé ce matériau vivant, au parfum agréable et couleurs variées. Ce jour-là, est née cette passion pour le bois. Formé dans le canton de Neuchâtel en qualité d’ébéniste, puis de menuisier, breveté contre-maître ébéniste en 2002 à Tolochenaz, j’ai complété ma formation par des cours de marqueterie, de sculpture sur bois, de tournage et de traitement de surfaces à Bulle. Après le travail à l’établi et sur les chantiers, j’ai exercé comme chef de projet sur la Riviera, puis en tant que technico-commercial dans le négoce de bois en Romandie.
Durant mes vingt années de pratique, j’ai relevé une nette augmentation des produits importés, au détriment de notre savoir-faire suisse. Ce constat m’a amené à créer le site www.lobjetbois.ch pour vous permettre de vivre et de vous entourer d’un savoir-faire notoire et local.
