C’era una volta in via Motta 17…Torniamo al 1977: un talentuoso giovane uomo olandese, apre un piccolo spazio per la cura del viso e del corpo, lo chiama molto semplicemente Studio 17, dal numero civico del nuovo palazzo appena terminato.
La sua bravura, serietà e cura per ogni dettaglio vengono da subito ripagati con un grande successo.
Un veloce passa parola porta nel suo “Studio” sempre più luganesi alla ricerca di un servizio di qualità.
Col tempo, lo Studio viene scelto per un massaggio o per una cura del viso anche dalla clientela internazionale, di passaggio in quegli anni a Lugano… dove le SPA non erano ancora nate…
A quel tempo, una Star di Hollywood si era stabilita sulle sponde del nostro lago con alcuni amici texani. Tutti loro diventarono assidui frequentatori dello Studio contribuendo così alla crescita della sua fama.
Nel 1980 terminano i lavori di ristrutturazione del palazzo che si affaccia sulla Via Nassa: lo Studio vi si trasferisce occupandone il terzo piano e l’indirizzo diventa così Via Nassa 32.
Il nome “Studio 17” però è molto conosciuto, quindi si decide di mantenerlo…
Lo studio è ora più grande e l’indirizzo è prestigioso, la “Maison de Beauté Carita” concede così la licenza per l’apertura di una “Cabine de Beauté” che porti il suo nome. È una novità assoluta per Lugano:
un istituto di bellezza che propone le stesse cure e gli stessi prodotti che prima si potevano trovare soltanto in Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré a Parigi.
Anche gli ambienti del nuovo Studio, moderni, minimali, quasi totalmente bianchi e con una splendida Marylin di Wharol appesa alle pareti, sorprendono non poco i nostri clienti.
… Sono passati oltre 40 anni… nel frattempo Carita non viene più importata in Svizzera ma abbiamo inserito altre marche prestigiose, sia svizzere come Valmont, sia francesi.
Il nostro intento oggi come allora è sempre quello di offrire dei servizi di alta qualità in un ambiente sobrio e raffinato.
