Bei uns steht das Kind im Zentrum und hat oberste Priorität. Wir lassen, wenn möglich, die Kinder bei Entscheidungen teilhaben. Gemeinsam mit den Kindern planen wir die Tages- und Wochen-Aktivitäten und blicken gerne gemeinsam zurück. Es ist uns ein Anliegen die Selbständigkeit (Autonomie) des Kindes zu fördern. Bei uns dürfen die Kinder selbständig das Essen schöpfen, sich anziehen und allgemein im Alltag eigene Versuche machen. Wir arbeiten nach dem pädagogischen Grundprinzip «Hilf mir es selbst zu tun». Im Bewusstsein, dass Kinder durch Nachahmung lernen, leben die Erziehungspersonen einen respektvollen Umgang und Kommunikation miteinander vor. Unsere Erziehungspersonen dienen dem Kind als Beispiel dafür, wie es selbst lernen könnte, begleiten das Kind, sind authentisch und kongruent.
