1928 als Blindengenossenschaft Zürich gegründet, bezog das Arbeitsheim Wangen in den Vierzigerjahren Räumlichkeiten in Wangen bei Dübendorf. 1963 wurde die Genossenschaft in Arbeitsheim Wangen umbenannt. Im Jahr 2012 entstand daraus das heutige Arbeitsheim Wangen - Stiftung für Behinderte. Für erwachsene Menschen mit einer psychischen Beeinträchtigung gedacht, finden bei uns 35 Bewohner geschützte Arbeitsplätze in verschiedenen Werkstätten und leben im Pensionssystem, wo Sie individuell betreut werden.
Ein Team aus 30 Personen sorgt dafür, dass unsere Bewohner innerhalb eines geschützten Rahmens ein selbständiges Leben führen können mit dem erforderlichen Freiraum.
Gerne laden wir Sie dazu ein, unseren Fabrikladen zu besuchen, wo Sie Produkte aus unseren Werkstätten wie der Flechterei und Binderei kaufen können.
