Our main activity consists of the manufacturing and distribution of firelighters. Safari firelighters, XXX firelighters and Bright Spark firelighters are our own brands which is distributed nationally to several of our distributors and agents. We also manufacture for various other companies under their own brand names, such as Lion firelighters (LION, Match Products (PTY) LTD), Pick & Pay firelighters (Pick & Pay (PTY) LTD), Home & Leisure firelighters (Heneck Sacks (PTY) LTD), Braaiketts firelighters (E&C Charcoal (PTY) LTD), Nam-Char firelighters (Diablo Trade (PTY) LTD), Pronto Lites firelighters (Pronto Distributors), Super Braai firelighters (Pronto Distributors) and Braai Bricks for Africa firelighters (Gribbon Trading 59 CC). Safari Manufacturing has identified both the top and lower end of the consumer market. Our products are supplied to major retail supermarkets such as Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite/Checkers and Spar in the Southern and Eastern Cape. We also supply to smaller supermarkets, garages, forecourts, butchers, hardware stores and outdoor stores. During season periods we would supply directly to camping sites and holiday resorts.
