She holds the following qualifications: Senior Teachers Diploma, B.A. in Communication, B.A. Honours and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. During her training she worked in Psychology clinics such as Vista Psychology centre in Port Elizabeth and Itsoseng Psychology Clinic in Pretoria. She has been involved as a Psychologist with Streetwise Shelter Children doing individual and group counselling and skills development training. Currently, she is in private practice and gets contracted by various companies for Skills Development, Training, Employee Wellness Programmes and Psychometric Assessments. Such companies are Wellness Intervention Centre, Jokie Product Management Services (JPMS) and TSM Consulting. Soyisa has found it interesting to venture into Hospitality and Tourism fields for growth purposes. Contracts obtained are funded by the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT) under African Global Skills Academy (AGSA) who is a lead service provider who also assist in the accreditation process to date.
