The Board further attends to community outreach, provincial partnerships, and corporate relationships. The Board also oversees the day-to-day administration, project management, and financial management of NICDAM. The project management teams are supported by a national office in Centurion, Gauteng which is fully furnished with electronic and communication equipment. Well-trained, highly skilled permanent administrative staff component provide administrative support needed to execute projects successfully. This office is further supported by provincial offices in the Western Cape, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal. NICDAM has a web based facility which can be used for reporting, accreditation as well as for monitoring and evaluation. An electronic data base system to capture learners’ information and provide records and reports is in operation. This system is implemented through a stand alone server and a network of 25 Lan computers. Provincial offices are linked through routers to the national office. A range of laser and inkjet printers, high quantity printing machines and collators enables NICDAM to produce courseware and meet all printing needs. NICDAM (National Institute Community Development and Management) is an educational and development Trust operating as an integrated multi-disciplinary team and is registered as a non-profit organisation.NICDAM’s mission is to focus on social development in Southern Africa communities through NQF aligned training, community development programmes, government support programmes and social research.
