Control Room
Astrosec offers a complete off-site event based monitoring service. Our Control Room operators are highly trained Profilers.
The operators play a crucial role in our business and are able to collect information as an objective outsider, not only about irregularities committed by staff or public but also neglected company policies that directly contributes to company losses.
Operators can also identify potential threats before they happen with info collected – body language, irregular behaviour etc.
Problems can be addressed from our control centre by way of a PA system communicating directly to the risk on site.
While this process is in action we can contact SAPS, your response company and the nominated persons i.e. management or security guards by using a VoIP system, landline, cell phone, sms or email.
The Astrosec Control Room is a World Class monitoring centre setting the standard and offering a Value Added Service. We utilise event based monitoring. When an incident occurs on site the event is displayed in the control room as it happens and monitored as the incident progress.
Our controllers take the necessary steps to process the incident and take the necessary action required.

Covert Operations
Astrosec (Pty) Ltd. rents out high-tech covert CCTV equipment in order to capture video evidence needed in identifying employees committing criminal or dishonest acts.
• Astrosec will install advanced pin hole cameras hidden in an array of unobtrusive designs, custom housings, or directly into a pre-existing object within the environment making them virtually undetectable.
• Each covert camera records to a high definition Digital Video Recorder (DVR).
• Astrosec delivers prompt installation, recognizing that time is crucial in such matters.
