The company (also a member of SAPPA) has grown from strength to strength, improving quality and price competitiveness year on year. KDP is now regarded as one of the leading processors of pecans in South Africa. Our main objective is the long term sustainable development and growth of the South African pecan industry. In order to achieve this, KDP has to be cost competitive and adhere to international food safety and quality standards. To fulfill our social responsibilities, KDP is registered for Broad based black economic empowerment (act 53 of 2003). This certifies that we are a contributor to the BEE program as stipulated by the act.
