HITE JINRO CO.,LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of alcohol beverages. The Company provides soju, Korean distilled spirits, under the brand names such as Chamisul, Chamisul Fresh, Jinro Gold and others, and beers under the brand name of Hite, including fiber beers, black beers, draft beers and malt beers. It also provides plum wines under the brand name of Mae Hwa su, grape wines under the brand name of JINRO, as well as raspberry wines and bottled water. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, America and Russia. The Company completed the merger with HITE BREWERY CO., LTD. on September 1, 2011. On July 1, 2012, the Company merged with its wholly owned subsidiary, Hiscot co. Ltd, a Korea-based foreign liquor seller. On July 19, 2012, HITEJINRO HOLDINGS CO., LTD acquired additional shares of the Company. After the transaction, HITEJINRO HOLDINGS CO., LTD hold a 54.72% stake in the Company.
